August 4, 2009 - 9:46 am - I've come back here again and again trying to get this incredibly slow connection to show all the pictures in this post. Now I think there's only one I can't fully see- no wait! It finally downloaded! Anyway, I completely forgot where I was in looking at these pictures. You did that thing you do, something you've always managed to do even for as long as I've known you, you've shown me something knew, surprised me by doing something I never would've thought of because I wasn't open enough to it's possibility until you did it and I could see how beautifully it worked. I know I am being vague here so I'm not sure if you understand what I am talking about. Things like the one woman touching near the other woman's nose- I could easily see myself thinking- wait- wait till the woman takes her hand down then take the pic. -but no- the fact that the woman's hand is there makes the pic.- it's one of the main elements that helps to tell the story. It's like when you would pick out clothes that i would normally dismiss because of what I somehow determined was a hideous color but then would put them on and low and behold they were beautiful. It's like when you sometimes explain something in a new way that I never would have thought of but when I hear it truly makes so much sense. What I'm trying to say is I love these pics and they remind me too of all the times you've left me in your sweet Diana way, feeling both in awe and so inspired.
August 6, 2009 - 2:18 pm - WOW!!!! Can I get married again so you can photograph it?!?
